Brook By The Bay

Brook By The Bay

“Bring me back”
The woman said. Yes she is a woman
The apple of his eyes

Yet drifted away by the clamor of identity

Once she asked, she will be away for a night
Then it had gone twice, thrice and more
A pajama party, it must have been
When will the sun rise again?

Tranquility turned to bewilderment
Secrets after secrets, lies after lies
She died but she is alive
She gasps but she can breathe

Breathe temporarily

Is her heart callous?
She hears but she's blind
Open her eyes, you can
Soon she will hear, she will see

How does it feel to hear what’s right when you do what’s wrong
Caged heart wants to get out but obscured by the terrors of the night
It is between him and her
No one will ever remember.
