Sa Pagitan

Makikita ko ba ang hangganan ng langit at lupa
Kung hanggang saan ang kayang abutin ng isang sinag ng araw
Ang minuto o baka segundo bago pumitik ang takipsilim sa gabi

Panandaliang natulog ang araw
Kumumot sa malalapad na ulap
Sumilip ang tila mapupulang sinag mula sa pagkakahimlay

Nabanaag ang pangatlong baitang ng takipsilim
Lininlang ang kalangitan sa inangking ilaw
Humalik ng pagpapaalam sa aking mga mata

Night after night of tears, guilt, regrets
